" Koreas Agree to Resume Reunions" By: Mark McDonald.
The Headline goes really good with the story, because in one simple sentence the reader can infer in what the story is about. This article uses an active lead, the lead is very effective because, it goes right to the point, it says how North and South Korea, aggred to reunite separete families, its a longer in more detail, type of headline. The source in this article, is the spokeswoman from the South Korea's Unification Ministry, I think they could have used as another source someone from North Korea, because even if they agreed to reunite some families, the readers would have like to hear something from the other side also. This article is newsworthy because, the rilvary between North and South Korea has lasted for so long that any step, one of the sides take for the good of the people, its another thing that the people can use to help the two sides become one again.

I select it this article because, I want it to show that sometimes, things can be fixed, when to sides that share the same land, can solve their difference with out any outside help, that chose one of the sides. I also chose this article because, the improvement that each country is having, a good effect on the benefict of the people.

  1. Interesting story. I agree you that this story does show that things can be fixed. This story shows there is progress going on in the world around us because there has always been conflict between North and South Korea so for them to come together for a reunion is amazing.

  2. I agree with you guys that this is an interesting story. I think that a small step like this will help the future of N. and S. Korea. It's good to see that things are being done to gradually stop the ongoing conflict in Korea.
